Supabase docs, answered: 7 of 15 questions
We took 15 questions people really ask about Supabase and put them to the GetFoxChat AI Operator (that you name as you like), reading only the public Supabase docs at supabase.com. An answer counts only when it links the exact docs page it came from. Everything else is listed as a gap.

How can I create an enum column in Supabase?
Asked as a Stack Overflow question
Great question! In Supabase, you create an enum column in two steps: first define the enum type in PostgreSQL, then use it when creating or altering a table. Here's how to do it in the Supabase SQL Editor:
Step 1 — Create the enum type:
Step 2 — Use it in a table:
Or if you want to add it to an existing table:

How do I handle Vercel preview and Supabase auth?
Asked as a GitHub issue
You can either add each preview URL manually as you create them, or you can look into whether a wildcard pattern is supported on your Supabase plan (check your project's authentication settings to see what's available).

When using Supabase Auth, how do you relate to other tables using Drizzle?
Asked as a GitHub issue
Based on what you're building, relating Auth users to other tables in Drizzle comes down to using foreign keys that reference the auth.users table. Here's the pattern: In your Drizzle schema, create a column that references auth.users(id). When you insert a row, you pass the authenticated user's ID (which you get from supabase.auth.getUser()) as that column's value. The key thing: the auth user ID comes from Supabase Auth itself. You don't create those users in Drizzle — Supabase Auth manages them. Drizzle just references them. One note from the docs: if you're running server-side code, you'll want to create a Supabase client using the service role key to keep it private, then call getUser() from there before passing the ID to your Drizzle queries. Are you hitting a specific issue with the relationship, or do you need help setting up the foreign key in your schema?

How can I send secure API requests from SvelteKit app, without showing API keys on the client side?
Asked as a Stack Overflow question
Great question — this is a core security pattern in SvelteKit. The key is to keep your Supabase API keys on the server side and have your client talk to your own backend endpoints instead. The general idea is to keep your service role key stored in environment variables, never exposed to the browser, and have your SvelteKit routes handle communication with Supabase on behalf of the client. This way, your service role key stays private. For authentication specifically, you'll want to verify the user's identity on the server before passing any user ID to database queries. The docs on creating a Supabase client for SSR (https://supabase.com/docs/guides/auth/server-side/creating-a-client) walk through exactly how to set this up — it covers which package to use and how to initialize the client with your keys from environment variables. If you're migrating from an older auth pattern, there's also a guide on moving away from Auth Helpers (https://supabase.com/docs/guides/auth/server-side/migrating-to-ssr-from-auth-helpers) that shows the updated approach.

Not found in the docs pages we read
We read up to 40 pages of these docs. A question lands here when the operator could not answer it, with a link, from those pages. The answer may be on a page we did not read. If you maintain these docs, this is the list of things your readers ask and do not find.
The operator could not answer these from the Supabase docs, so it said so instead of guessing. For a docs team, this list is the useful part: these are questions people ask that the docs leave open.

How this test works
- The questions are real: top questions in the Supabase tag on Stack Overflow, the most discussed question-style issues in its GitHub repository, and questions the docs pose in their own headings. Each one links to where it was asked.
- The operator read 40 pages of the public docs and nothing else. It answered each question in a fresh conversation.
- A reply counts as answered only when it links the docs page it came from. A refusal, a hand-off or a reply without a docs page is a gap.
- We re-check every month. This page changes only when an answer or a gap does.
