1. Service Description

FoxChat provides an AI-powered customer chat widget that businesses embed on their websites. The service includes: AI chat responses trained on the customer's content, a human operator inbox, spam filtering, visitor analytics, and related tools.

2. Account and Access

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use FoxChat for spam, phishing, or deceptive practices.
• Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code through the chat widget.
• Impersonate other businesses or individuals.
• Use the service to collect data in violation of applicable privacy laws.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service.

4. Payment Terms

• Free trial: All plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start.
• Billing: After the trial, plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are in USD.
• Plans: Starter ($29/mo), Pro ($49/mo), Agency ($149/mo). See pricing for details.
• Overages: If you exceed your plan's conversation limit, conversations will still be served but you may be asked to upgrade.

5. Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds are provided for the current billing period.
• After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted.

6. Data Ownership

• Your data is yours. You own all conversation data, visitor data, and content generated through your use of FoxChat.
• You can export your data at any time via the admin dashboard or by contacting support.
• We do not use your data to train AI models or share it with other customers.
• Anonymous spam signals (content hashes, not conversation text) are shared for community spam defense.

7. AI Responses

• FoxChat's AI generates responses based on your site's content. While we strive for accuracy, AI responses may occasionally be incorrect or incomplete.
• You are responsible for reviewing and approving AI-generated content where accuracy is critical.
• FoxChat is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated responses.

8. Limitation of Liability

FoxChat is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for: indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; lost profits or data; service interruptions; or third-party actions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
