Add GetFoxChat to your Duda site

The line to add

Yours has your own site ID in place of YOUR_SITE_ID.

Add GetFoxChat to Duda, step by step

1. In GetFoxChat, open the install step for your site and copy your snippet. It already has your site ID in it. No account yet? Create one free.
2. Open your site in the Duda editor.
3. In the side panel, click More, then click Settings. source
4. Click Header HTML. source
5. Paste the GetFoxChat line into the Body End HTML field, which adds code before the closing body tag on each page. source
6. Click Save. source
7. Publish the site, then open the live site and check that the chat bubble shows.
8. Back in GetFoxChat, press Check my site. The chat switches on once GetFoxChat finds the snippet on your live pages.

Duda gotchas

• Duda recommends the Body End HTML field over the head when you use a consent management app, because code in the header HTML can run before consent. source
• The head section only keeps link, script and meta tags; anything else pasted there can disappear. source
• Duda runs page speed optimization on most pages, which can change how scripts run. If the widget does not load, test on a duplicate page and contact Duda support. source
• Duda Support does not debug custom code, so reach out to GetFoxChat support if the widget does not show. source

Removing it later

Go back to More, Settings, Header HTML, delete the GetFoxChat line from the Body End HTML field, click Save, and republish the site.

The human help page (support.duda.co/hc/...) sits behind a bot wall that returns 403 to scripts, so every claim is verified against the same article through Duda's public Help Center API JSON on support.duda.co. The article also says the Body End HTML field can be reached via Settings then Head HTML; the site-wide section of the same article names the button Header HTML. Link readers to the help page URL.
