Add GetFoxChat to your Webflow site

As of November 3, 2026, to add GetFoxChat to Webflow, paste the snippet into the Footer code section of Site settings, Custom code tab, which Webflow places before the closing </body> tag on every page (Webflow's own guide, September 30, 2026). Before you start: Your site needs an active Site plan, or you need a Core, Growth, Agency or Freelancer Workspace. You must be a Site manager or Designer. source

Yours has your own site ID in place of YOUR_SITE_ID.

How do you add GetFoxChat to Webflow, step by step?

In GetFoxChat, open the install step for your site and copy your snippet. It already has your site ID in it. No account yet? Create one free.
Open Site settings for your site and go to the Custom code tab. source
Paste the snippet into the Footer code section. source
Save your changes.
Publish your site. The code does not go live until the site is published. source
Back in GetFoxChat, press Check my site. The chat switches on once GetFoxChat finds the snippet on your live pages.

Webflow gotchas

Custom code shows in preview mode but does not go live until you publish. source
Custom code does not run in expand canvas view in the Designer, so check the chat on the published site. source
Paste only the script line. Do not wrap it in html, head or body tags. source
Webflow support does not help with custom code setup; for GetFoxChat questions contact GetFoxChat. source

How do you remove it later?

Open Site settings, Custom code tab, delete the GetFoxChat line from the Footer code section, save, and publish the site again.
