Install FoxChat on Webflow

Paste one line into Footer Code, publish, and the FoxChat AI Operator (you name it yourself) is live site-wide.

FoxChat adds an AI chat bubble named your AI operator to your Webflow site. Your AI operator reads your published pages and answers visitor questions automatically. Webflow has a project-wide Footer Code field built for snippets like this, so it loads on every page without touching individual pages or symbols. Add it once, publish, and you are done. (Custom code in project settings is available on paid site plans.)

1Copy your FoxChat snippet
<script src="https://getfoxchat.com/widget.js" data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID" defer></script>

Replace YOUR_SITE_ID with the ID from your FoxChat dashboard.

2Open Project Settings

In the Webflow Designer, click the gear icon to open Project Settings, then choose the Custom Code tab.

3Paste into Footer Code

Find the Footer Code box (labelled "before </body> tag") and paste the snippet there. Click Save Changes.

4Publish

Click Publish and confirm your domain. Webflow only runs custom code on the published site, so this step is required. Open the live URL and your AI operator appears in the corner.

Troubleshooting

Widget not showing?

Make sure you published after saving — custom code never runs in the Designer preview. Confirm the snippet is in Footer Code and the site ID is correct.

Widget covering something?

Move the bubble to the opposite corner from your FoxChat dashboard — no code change needed.

Want to remove FoxChat?

Open Project Settings → Custom Code, delete the snippet from Footer Code, save, and publish again.
