Platforms without a way to add the line
We checked these platforms' own documentation and found no supported way to add a site-wide script, so there is no guide for them:
- GitBook: GitBook says custom code cannot be added to a GitBook site, and the GetFoxChat integration for GitBook is waiting for GitBook's review. source
- GoDaddy Websites + Marketing: GoDaddy Websites + Marketing allows custom code only inside an HTML section on a single page, and that code runs inside a frame, so a site-wide chat bubble cannot be added. source
- Notion Sites: Notion Sites customization covers things like the favicon, navigation, share previews, theme and an analytics ID; custom scripts are not among them. source
Same line everywhere
Every guide adds the same line, once, so it loads on every page:
<script src="https://getfoxchat.com/widget.js" data-site-id="YOUR_SITE_ID" defer></script>
Someone else runs your site? In GetFoxChat, press Send the code to my web person: it opens an email in your own email app with the snippet and a no-login guide link.
