Install guide: HubSpot CMS (Content Hub)

Add GetFoxChat to your HubSpot CMS (Content Hub) site

Paste the snippet into the Site Footer HTML box under Settings, Content, Pages, which applies it to all HubSpot-hosted content on the chosen domain or on all domains. The line loads the GetFoxChat chat bubble on every page, and the operator behind it answers your visitors from your own public pages.

Add GetFoxChat to HubSpot CMS (Content Hub), step by step

In GetFoxChat, open the install step for your site and copy your snippet. It already has your site ID in it. No account yet? Create one free.
In your HubSpot account, click the settings icon in the top navigation bar. source
In the left sidebar menu, go to Content, then Pages. source
Open the Choose a domain to edit its settings dropdown and pick Default settings for all domains, or pick one domain. source
If you picked one domain, click Override default settings in the Site Footer HTML section. source
Paste the GetFoxChat line into the Site Footer HTML box. source
In the bottom left, click Save. source
Back in GetFoxChat, press Check my site. The chat switches on once GetFoxChat finds the snippet on your live pages.

HubSpot CMS (Content Hub) gotchas

Once you override a single domain, code in the default settings no longer applies to that domain, so put the snippet in the override too. source
Header or footer code set for all domains, or for a quotes domain, also shows on HubSpot quotes. source
The per-page Footer HTML field in the content editor is not available for blog posts or knowledge base articles, so use the site-wide settings to cover those. source

Removing it later

Go back to Settings, Content, Pages, choose the same domain or Default settings for all domains, delete the GetFoxChat line from Site Footer HTML, and click Save.

Applies only to content hosted on HubSpot (website pages, landing pages, blog, knowledge base). The article notes editing options for head and footer HTML vary by subscription and content type.
