Yours has your own site ID in place of YOUR_SITE_ID.

Add GetFoxChat to Magento Open Source / Adobe Commerce, step by step

1. In GetFoxChat, open the install step for your site and copy your snippet. It already has your site ID in it. No account yet? Create one free.
2. On the Admin sidebar, go to Content, then Design, then Configuration. source
3. Find the store view you want and click Edit in the Action column. source
4. Under Other Settings, expand the Footer section. source
5. Paste the GetFoxChat line into the Miscellaneous HTML field. source
6. Click Save Configuration. source
7. If a cache notice appears, go to System, Tools, Cache Management and refresh the caches it lists, then check your storefront. source
8. Back in GetFoxChat, press Check my site. The chat switches on once GetFoxChat finds the snippet on your live pages.

Magento Open Source / Adobe Commerce gotchas

• JavaScript in Miscellaneous HTML must be allowed in the Content Security Policy settings, or it will not run on the Checkout pages. source
• The setting is per store view, so repeat it for each store view that should show the chat. source
• After a cache refresh you may also need to clear your own browser cache to see the change. source

Removing it later

Go back to Content, Design, Configuration, edit the same store view, delete the GetFoxChat line from Footer, Miscellaneous HTML, click Save Configuration, and refresh the cache.
