Install guide: Weebly (Square Online/Weebly)

Add GetFoxChat to your Weebly (Square Online/Weebly) site

Add the snippet as a new custom code under Settings, Tracking Tools in Square Online, with its placement set to End of body, then publish the site. The line loads the GetFoxChat chat bubble on every page, and the operator behind it answers your visitors from your own public pages.

Add GetFoxChat to Weebly (Square Online/Weebly), step by step

In GetFoxChat, open the install step for your site and copy your snippet. It already has your site ID in it. No account yet? Create one free.
Sign in to Square Dashboard and go to Channels, then Square Online. source
Select Settings, then Tracking Tools. source
Select Add new code. source
In the pop-up window, enter a name such as GetFoxChat and paste the GetFoxChat line as the code. source
Choose End of body as the placement. source
Select Save. source
Publish your site from the site editor so the change goes live. source
Back in GetFoxChat, press Check my site. The chat switches on once GetFoxChat finds the snippet on your live pages.

Weebly (Square Online/Weebly) gotchas

Saving is not enough: the widget only shows on the live site after you publish from the site editor. source
Square support can point you to where custom code goes but does not help with the code itself; contact GetFoxChat support if the widget does not show. source
Tracking Tools is for code that loads in the page, not visible embeds. Add GetFoxChat here rather than as embedded code on a single page, so it loads site-wide. source

Removing it later

Go back to Square Online, Settings, Tracking Tools, delete the GetFoxChat code entry, and publish the site again.

Steps are for Square Online, the current editor for Weebly-built stores. The classic Weebly editor also has site-wide Header Code and Footer Code fields, but its official help article (weebly.com/app/help/us/en/topics/third-party-code) could not be loaded on 2026-09-30: it redirects to a page saying the feature is not supported on this version of Weebly, and only third-party guides describe the classic path. No classic Weebly menu path is claimed. The gotcha about page-level embeds is an inference from the article's distinction between tracking code and embedded code.
