Yours has your own site ID in place of YOUR_SITE_ID.

How do you add GetFoxChat to Carrd, step by step?

1. In GetFoxChat, open the install step for your site and copy your snippet. It already has your site ID in it. No account yet? Create one free.
2. Open your site in the Carrd builder and click Add Element. source
3. Click Embed to create a new Embed element. source
4. Set Type to Code, and paste the snippet into Code. source
5. Optionally set Label to GetFoxChat so you can find it later. source
6. Set Style to Hidden, then choose Body End. source
7. Publish the site, then open the published site to check the chat bubble appears. source
8. Back in GetFoxChat, press Check my site. The chat switches on once GetFoxChat finds the snippet on your live pages.

Carrd gotchas

• The Embed element shows nothing in the builder. You only see the chat after you publish. source
• A Hidden embed sits outside the normal layout, so you can drag it to the very end of the site where it is out of the way. source

How do you remove it later?

In the builder, select the GetFoxChat Embed element, delete it, and publish the site again.
